Labor-less Labor Day Weekend

We had nothing adventurous planned for the long weekend, but we decided to be tourist in our own town again after we had so much fun staying at Hotel LeVeque for our anniversary (Post coming soon)! We attended a wedding, celebrated a friend’s bday, kayaked the Hoover Dam, cruised around all over our city on the Harley, walked around Uptown Westerville to eat and shop, played games and lost in trivia at Old North Arcade, and then capped it off by making out 🙂 and sitting on the swings on the Scioto Mile at night. Harvest Pizza & Curio Bar

I got the Silver Dollar and Josh got an Old Fashioned. Highly recommend both. My usual drink of choice is a whiskey sour, so the bartender recommended the silver dollar. It had citrus notes to it.

We also decided to try their Moscow Mule with our pizza. This drink was so refreshing and had so much flavor. It is a perfect warm weather drink, in my opinion.

As far as pizza goes, I got the Spicy Yuma! I love love love spicy stuff and the Chipotle Tomato sauce was delicious. Josh got the Pineapple. It was like a Hawaiian pizza with a spicy kick.

We loved our whole experience. We want to go back a million times more. It is a must eat in Columbus!

89 Fish & Grill

Here is the Monk Fish picture I mentioned…Had he looked at the fish before, I doubt he would have ordered it.

Here is the link to 89’s menu! My meal was called the Skuna bay Salmon. Our waitress said it was a seasonal favorite. You definitely can’t go wrong with it…I mean we all know what a Salmon looks like at least.
